Bug reports / i can't seem to get the controls to function

i can't seem to get the controls to function. i've gotten the game configuration file to recognize controls but once i get into the game it doesn't recognize my keyboard or my gamepad. i've correctly configured both resident evil 1 and resident evil 2 so i'm not sure what the difference with resident evil 3 would be. any troubleshooting ideas? is it possible that this is a bug with my specific specifications?

I'm not really sure what you mean.. If you mean adding more polygons to Regina's model it's currently impossible because the model formats are still unknown. Increasing the textures resolution of characters is not possible either.

To that bad, if that is what I was referring to what you mention

This mod aims to fully restore all of the Dino Crisis beta stuff shown in several Gamespot / IGN / pre-release screenshots, trailers, hidden textures and whatnot. Mod will include beta dialogues and sounds as well, some which are still hidden in the game files.

The mod is far from complete because it still needs proper geometry modifications. For now most of the beta textures are pretty much recreated into the game, here's a few examples:

1) That happens only sometimes on the English translation turned on. No idea how to even trigger it consistently.
2) Out of the scope of the patch.
3) Never happened to me but I'll look into it at some point.
4) That's the English translation applying localization stuff.

Turns out that this is censored when playing in Arrange mode, but uncensored when playing in Original mode (which fits with the original NTSC-J/NTSC-U PSX releases; although afaik the rest of the censoring is like the Japanese version regardless of which game mode is used). Under these circumstances it may be easier to make an option to force the uncensored version?

I get 25% CPU usage on my quad core laptop w\ ATI FirePro M5800. Add to that it overheats the CPU & forces the fan at full spin speed.

I'm not sure it is, now that I looked into it with the help of Fabrizio I was incorrect in saying the battery uses the wrong texture in the PC version. The textures are identical but a special treatment is given to the broken battery on top of the original texture; and by looking at the PC screenshot again, that treatment is there but it just doesn't give the same desired result as it only gives that faded shadowy shape that can barely be seen.
