Re-binding arrow keys in RE1 Classic Rebirth

Currently in 1.1.3 i cannot rebind movement to arrow keys, is there a workaround, is it intentional? and is there an upcoming update that we might get to allow more keybindings?

It's intentional, like in the original, and they are not remappable to allow menu navigation regardless of binds.
